nak tipu pon cover2 sket arrr....warrghh!!!

i was going back to PR today, but before that i made a quick stop at Jalan Pasar at KL...For those who don't know yet, Jalan Pasar is a 'heaven' of electronics stuffs, just like how Low Yat Plaza is heaven of PC Gadgets and Gizmos...i was planning to buy some stuffs for my latest DIY stuffs, and a new transistor for my printer..My printer's power supply had broken a long time ago, and apparently there's one transistor had burned out and revealed the inside of its body...(more on this on my next Electronics DIY)...that transistor's model is 2SA1091, however a quick search from Google shows that any equivalent model such as 2SA1371, 2SC2551, BF421A, 2SA1018, BF437 or others could be use as well...i went to one of the shop and showed this list to the shopper, prioritize the topmost model first before going down the list if it is not available...after some searching, she gave me a metallic, cilinder-type 'transistor' (i am more familiar with black, half-cilinder type..alah, kepala die bulat potong separuh tu larrr..yg ade leper kat satu side)..she pointed that this is the BF421A model...without looking properly at that 'transistor', i noticed the letters like B and F on the body, so okay, this is it...bought this 3 pieces for 50 cent each...next, i went to another shop, planning to buy a new, two-sided PCB board...the shop did not sell PCB with the measurement in cm/mm, only in inches...so i asked for 6 x 4 inch, and the shopper cut it to its size..this cost me about RM2.00...okay, bought it..then i went back to PR..

now here's the thing..it could be my fault because i did not inspect it first before buying...but i believe its the shopper's responsibility who should gives the correct part from the 1st place...that 'transistor' actual model is...B.F.2.5.1.M...that's BF251M for you, not BF421A!!!warghh!!not only the part number was wrong, but that transistor somehow has 4 (FOUR) LEGS!!! i expected a 3-legged, Collector-Base-Emmiter or Drain-Source-Gate type, the one we learned on our Electronics class..what the heck with this extra leg?

can someone identify this for me? i barely passed my Electronics paper..(fail 1x, dapat D+ 1x..amik ko, pengakuan ikhlas..patutle senang kene tipu)..

okeh kasi can..maybe she herself didn't notice this..okaylarrr xkisahlarrr..(walaupun bengang gak) but what initiated me to feel like killing someone is the PCB board...when i asked for 6 x 4 inch, i gave +-0.1 inch deviation, which i thought it was the thick of the cutter...i measured the length and guess what, i got only 5.6 inch!!! if you ever said that "alah 0.4 inchi kurang je apele sgt", then you are stayyy-oopiiddd..try looking 0.4 inch on your ruler...this was so apparent, and i knew the seller purposedly cut shorter than the actual measurement..good for them, they managed to cheat a hapless, young, handsome boy like me...boohoo...dammit..so as a lesson, you should always inspect your stuff 1st before you buy anything..
