2006 year-ending blog

assalamualaikum...this would be the last entry of the year 2006...today, i'll be going back to my kampung, either at Gopeng (Uchi's home) or Jelapang (Mak Ngah's home), depends on where Uchi is staying..i would like to wish everyone, Happy Eidul-Adha..remember, sometimes, to progress forward, one should be prepared to sacrifies something, even the ones he loves the most..whether we are ready, or able, or wanted, this is the true test of our lives..are we prepared? Believe in Him, and He'll guide you the way, insyaallah..

and yes, we are heading towards 2007...so happy new year..hopefully we'll set (and reset) our determination, our ambition, our intention towards the bright and glorious path..:)

anyway, i think today's internet connection is getting better...maybe i'm still at off-peak hours...i wonder how the repairs of our APCN2 line going? the quake at Taiwan 2-3 days ago was really catastrophic, especially for most of broadband users like me..i mean, downloading stuffs had been a pain in the butt...snails can even crawl faster than my current internet speed...but i think there is some improvement now...

the condition of flood in BP is getting better today...it's been 2 days since the last rainfall..2 days ago, our maximum flood level was that both of the drainwater alongside the our backroad had combine, and part of the road had submerge..that was the current highest record...now the level has decreased somewhat...although the main junction that lead to our front door is still unpassable...and the house condition at the junction doesn't change that much...i hope it will continue to improve throughout this Raya/New Year period..

this pictures were taken a week ago at our back road (backyard..whatever)..Mr Anip Basri & Hadfi Ismeth was featured here...notice how close the drain water were going to join..(actually, it had already joined the night before..you could see the half-dried surface here...at this moment, the water had receded a bit)...this was the 2nd highest level recorded...I didn't took the pictures of the highest flood water 2 days ago, as it was about the same as those flood pictures here and there around Johor at the Net..try read some past online news for even more 'dramatic' events..

as usual, one of the unfortunate homes of Tmn Bintang, with its unfortunate house members...
